Emma M. Cooper
Principal

Emma has a talent for bringing order into any space, infusing personality and workability into assorted residential and workplace environments. Her confident and approachable style allows her to work with a diverse client base to find individual solutions and positive results. Her expertise and passion for organization is enhanced with professional skills gained through her accounting and management backgrounds. This particular skill set provides her with the capacity to lead the Clarity Jane team.
In addition to her role as Principal at Clarity Jane, Emma has studied to be a certified Professional Organizer with the
Professional Organizers in Canada. She's also
a member of the
National Association of Professional Organizers (USA) and of the
Institute for Challenging Disorganization.
Background
Emma has over a decade of experience in the financial industry, specializing in public practice, construction and corporate accounting. In February 2008, Emma decided that it was time to walk away from her accounting career to follow her true calling – professional organizing – and created
Clarity Jane Professional Organizing Agency Ltd.
Education
In addition to studying to be a Certified General Accountant through the
Certified General Accounting Association (CGA), Emma has studied to be a Certified Professional Organizer through the
Professional Organizers in Canada.
Volunteer Work
In her personal time, Emma volunteers regularly with Dress for Success Vancouver, a not-for-profit organization that promotes the financial independence of women in the Lower Mainland. Emma has had many roles at DFSV, including helping to organize the storefront and warehouse, developing the annual fall fashion clear-out event, chairing IMPACT: An Event for Change and sitting on the Board as the Director of Finance (Treasurer).
