Tool #2: Assigning tasks and chores with “Remember the Milk”

Yesterday we showed you how to use Google Calendars to share events and appointments with your family. Today we’re going to look at a site that can help your organized and check off your to-do lists:

Remember the Milk is basically a task manager. You can create different lists to organize chores, shopping lists, packing lists, or even work tasks. All items can be prioritized, shared, and set to repeat on a regular basis. This customization makes Remember the Milk great for any type of to do list.

Why not use Remember the Milk to list all the weekly chores for each person in the family? As each person completes a chore, they check it off the list so everyone knows it’s been done. You can also use it as a packing list so you don’t forget your toothbrush on your next vacation.

Another great feature of this site is that you can choose to be reminded by email, by phone, or through many popular instant messaging sites (ie: MNS Messenger, ICQ, Skype…etc).

Check back on Monday for a tool to help you with your newest bundle of joy.
